Recent Reviews Culinary Dropout
- Nick O (a month ago):
Culinary Dropout was really good. I had the salmon and it was amazing. It was cooked perfectly, and the couscous underneath went really well with it without making the whole dish feel too heavy. The steak frites was also a hit. The steak was very flavorful, tender, and cooked well, and the fries were crispy and seasoned right. Both plates looked great and tasted even better. Definitely worth going back.

It was our first time here. I've been wanting to go every prior to opening. The name caught my attention. The service (Adarian) was amazing. The food was delish! The atmosphere was a whole vibe. It was just right, without an overwhelming loudness to the music and just the right amount of tv for everyone to see. Hands down 10/10 We will be going back!

This little gem is in the arts district of the city close to downtown. Although there is valet, the parking lot is big enough for you to self park. There is a quaint restaurant at the bottom and a cute rooftop. The rooftop has a full bar with seating and its own menu. The rooftop is partially covered for those us who do not want to be exposed to the direct heat of Texas summers. As well as a more open area with dining tables and chairs. There was DJ that provided the vibes. And a beautiful view of the Dallas skyline. The food was amazing. The service exceptional. Definitely will be returning.

First time there for brunch. I am guessing the banana bread French toast must be popular because I tried to order it and they were out. Disappointing. I ended up ordering smokehouse hash and this was good. The whipped feta and tahini dip was delicious. Peaches and rye cocktail was tasty. The server was attentive. Nice atmosphere. If we come back then we will try and sit upstairs when the weather is good.
- Thomas Stevens (2 months ago):
Love everything about this restaurant. The staff is incredible, friendly and professional. I had a Ancient Grain, Butternut Squash, Apple Salad. I subbed out kale for romain.... no problem...and added shrimp. It was absolutely delish. Kylar...is an outstanding addition to this restaurant! She was professional and perfect personality
- Juan Gonzalez (a month ago):
The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. As soon as you entered, you were greeted with a friendly attitude and offered a seat. You could then head to the top floor to enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the breathtaking view of the beautiful city of Dallas. It was a great opportunity to meet the manager as well. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this place. We drove an hour to get there, but it was definitely worth it.

We have seen this place when they were building it, and we’re going to plan on trying it out someday. We had a new guy start today, so we thought it would be a good day to try them out for lunch. We had 7 people and arrived about 11:30 and were seated right away. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and informative. We ordered 2 appetizers, the Brussel sprouts and the pretzel and fondue. They were grabbed right away before I could get any pictures of them. The Brussels sprouts had a spicy flavor, very good. The pretzels had a nice crunch on the outside and soft inside. Everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. We ordered everything at the same time, and got the appetizers within a few minutes, and by the time we were done with those, our meals came, just as ordered. I ordered the meatloaf. It was very good, I usually prefer a more of a red sauce on the meatloaf instead of more ketchup, but I was surprised how good it tasted. The vegetables were fresh and crispy and the mashed potatoes were amazing even though I prefer no potato skin in my mashed potatoes. This place is definitely a hit! We will be back!

Great vibe. Our server was amazing. Judson was so nice and cheerful. Always nice to have someone take care of you that enjoys their job. He made our visit the best. The food was really good just wish the ranch had a little less vinegar in it.
